MAGNETIC SIGHT GLASSES Operating Principle A float contained in a separate flanged bypass chamber mounted on the side of a vessel rises and falls with the liquid level in the vessel. The bypass chamber is completely liquid and gas sealed. The only moving part in contact with the liquid is the float. As the float moves, a magnet inside it causes bi-colored magnetic rollers outside the chamber to rotate through 180 degrees and change color -- providing a continuous external visual display of the liquid level. The basic display requires no external power. Application Suitable for almost all liquids - including aggressive, toxic or turbulent liquids - and liquefied gases. By-pass tube lengths to 4m (or greater to special design - dependent upon materials).
